One night in the tiny town of Tynong,
a terrible trio terrorized the sleeping townspeople.

So who were these criminals?
A local gang or maybe escaped convicts?

NO – they were a dog, a cat and a sheep – the most unlikely of culprits.
Join Tarzzy the dog, Lola the cat and Shut Up Sheep as they rampage through their neighborhood, creating madness and mayhem in this delightful story.

Will they get away with it?
Only time will tell!

The Tyrants of Tynong is a beautifully illustrated children’s storybook about mischief, naughtiness, adventure and friends.

A 38-page softcover book.

Aimed at ages 5-8 but it's a fun read for everyone!

About the Author

This is Karen Thomson's first book (self-published), inspired by life with her fur kids (family pets) and kids, Hannah and Jake. Karen has loved reading from an early age with The Silver Brumby by Elyne Mitchell being a favourite. Besides instilling her love of otters, it also influenced naming Tarka Tales which is a combination of Tarzzy & Karen put together: Tar – Ka.

Karen is an avid reader who loves books and sees them as an escape from our world, allowing your mind to sink into them, into the characters and become lost.

Karen got the idea for ‘The Tyrants of Tynong’ when she was watching the sheep in her paddock one day and it looked like Tarzzy was going to let her out, and from there the idea took hold. The book is based In Tynong, Victoria, Australia where Karen lives. She hopes you enjoy reading it as much as Karen enjoyed bringing this story to life.

With special thanks to Sunshine @stuffbyshine for the beautiful illustrations and bringing Karen's characters to the world in full colour.
